Yang Ming Marine Transport settles another shipper dispute privately - India Shipping News

Taiwanese shipping company Yang Ming Marine Transport has reached an out-of-court settlement with US gourmet food producer MSRF. MSRF had filed a complaint with the US Federal Maritime Commission alleging that Yang Ming and South Korean carrier HMM colluded to breach their contractual obligations and failed to provide sufficient shipping capacity. Yang Ming and MSRF have reached a confidential settlement, closing the matter. However, MSRF's complaint against HMM remains unresolved. Yang Ming also settled a similar dispute with US home furnishings company Achim Importing Company.
