The chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Puducherry chapter, A. Joseph Rozario, announced that the business climate in Puducherry has improved. Tax collection has shown growth, with GST collection increasing by 30%, higher than the national average of 22%. The CII is working with the government to attract more investments and improve the industrial climate. Efforts to develop land for industrial units are underway, which will bring more pharma and IT companies to the territory. The CII is also working to enhance students' skills and employability.
