Whistle Drive bets big on EVs for last mile deliveries - ITLN

Whistle Drive, an urban mobility company, has announced its commitment to go "ALL-IN on electric vehicles." The company plans to increase its electric vehicle fleet count and set new standards for corporate transportation. The Indian government has dedicated Rs 10,000 crore to advance EV charging infrastructure. Whistle Drive aims to operate all its last mile delivery operations and shorter commute trips with electric vehicles. Maersk, a logistics integrator, has deployed electric scooters for decarbonized last mile deliveries in Gurugram. TVS Motor will deploy over 10,000 electric scooters for Zomato's food ordering and delivery platform.
