West Bengal government coming up with Export Promotion policy - India Shipping News

The West Bengal state government is aiming to double the state's share in India's annual exports over the next decade by implementing an export promotion policy and a logistics policy. The government plans to build the Tajpur Port to enhance export capabilities in East and North-East India, and develop industrial pockets around it for faster processing and approvals. The government has also formed the International Trade and Logistics committee and launched a website to help exporters.
