The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, has launched the Port Health Organisation (PHO) module under the Sagar Setu - National Logistics Portal (Marine). The module aims to create a faster and simpler ecosystem for disease surveillance, health inspection, and quarantine measures at ports. It will enable online PHO clearance certificates, certification generation, and tracking. The launch of the PHO module and the Sagar Setu app reflects the ministry's commitment to modernizing India's port infrastructure and promoting ease of doing business.
