India has earned an impressive 93.55% score in a United Nations survey on global trade facilitation in 2023, a rise from 90.32% in 2021. The survey evaluated digital and sustainable trade facilitation across 140 economies, with India showing progress in transparency, formalities, institutional arrangement, and paperless trade. The overall implementation rate of trade facilitation measures increased by more than six percentage points between 2021 and 2023. India has been working to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and promote cooperation among stakeholders to improve trade facilitation.
