Customized Energy Solutions' subsidiary, Triton Electric Vehicle (TEV), plans to introduce the 3.5-ton Triton EV pickup truck in India and the Middle East, targeting the growing demand for electric mobility in the logistics sector. With road transportation dominating freight movement in India, there is an increasing focus on sustainable logistics. TEV's MD, Himanshu Patel, believes EVs are making a significant contribution to the automobile industry. The company aims to support local production, generate job opportunities, improve profitability, and enhance supply chain coverage. Triton EV recently established a research and development facility in Ahmedabad for its global activities.
