Dubai-based maritime companies Transworld Group and Fleet Management have formed a joint venture called Transworld Fleet Management. The venture will provide technical management services to Transworld Group's fleet, which includes container vessels, bulk carriers, and tankers. It will also offer ship management services to other shipowners in the region. Transworld Group Chairman Ramesh S. Ramakrishnan said the collaboration would allow the company to focus on ship ownership, while benefiting from FLEET's expertise. FLEET is the second-largest ship management company globally, managing over 650 vessels.
