Three ODCs of NRL expansion project dock at Pandu Ghat - India Shipping News

Three heavy Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) of Numaligarh Refinery Limited's expansion project docked at Pandu Ghat on Friday, transported by the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI). The cumulative weight of the three ODCs is over 3,275 MT, with the heaviest weighing 1,286 MT, making it the largest ever transported via the Brahmaputra river. The ODCs traveled from Diamond Harbour to Numaligarh Jetty through the Indo Bangladesh Protocol Route and National Waterways. IWAI is transporting 24 ODCs for the NRL expansion project, demonstrating the potential of inland waterways for India, Assam, and the Northeast.
