Tesla making headway to establish supply chain ecosystem in India - Logistics Insider

Tesla is considering bringing its auto parts and electronics chain to India. The company has held discussions with government officials and sought incentives and tax breaks. This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with CEO Elon Musk last month. While the government has asked Tesla to evaluate the existing auto components supply chain in India, the company is showing interest in bringing its own supply chain ecosystem. Tesla is also examining the readiness of the electronics infrastructure in the country. Challenges in China may have renewed Tesla's interest in India.
