The Reserve Bank of India has approved the International Finance Corporation's acquisition of up to 9.70% of the paid-up share capital or voting rights of Federal Bank. Hindustan Zinc is considering corporate restructuring to create separate entities for different business verticals. Uno Minda has received board approval to increase its stake in Minda Westport Technologies from 50% to 76%. Shares of Hindustan Zinc and Vedanta surged after the announcement.
