Railways duped of Rs 5.13 crore by transporting marble powder disguised as alum powder - Zee Business

Railway officials, a Jaipur-based private firm, and its director are facing an FIR from the CBI for cheating the Indian Railways of over Rs 5.13 crore. They allegedly transported marble powder disguised as alum powder to different parts of the country. The fraudulent act took place between September 2021 and March 2022. The CBI launched a preliminary inquiry in December 2022 and has registered an FIR based on its findings.
