Supply chain stakeholders on the India-UAE tradelane are optimistic about the pace of demand growth after a bilateral free trade agreement was set up early last year. Two-way trade between India and the UAE reached a new high last year, up 23% and worth around $85bn. Major carriers such as Maersk, MSC, and ONE have added regional connections to take advantage of the trade resurgence. DP World has also expanded its terminal footprint in India.
