During the 51st Meeting of the Network Planning Group under PM Gati Shakti, five road projects worth Rs. 15,683 cr. were evaluated. These projects in Mizoram, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and Kanpur aim to improve connectivity to industrial clusters, social sector assets, and streamline freight traffic movement. Notable projects include a tunnel in Aizawl to enhance connectivity with Myanmar and a bypass road in Kanpur for decongesting the city. The meeting also discussed the inclusion of slurry pipeline projects in the GatiShakti framework.
