India is making progress in reducing logistics costs and improving its logistics performance through the National Logistics Policy. A task force has been established to estimate logistics costs and develop a long-term framework for calculation. The policy aims to achieve top 25 ranking in the Logistics Performance Index by 2030 and create an efficient logistics ecosystem. The implementation includes the launch of a Unified Logistics Interface Platform that integrates various digital systems and allows for private sector participation. The goal is to drive economic growth and improve business competitiveness in the country.
