The National Highway Logistics Management (NHLML), a subsidiary of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has issued a Rs 2.51 billion tender for a 2.2 km long ropeway project in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The project will be developed, operated, and maintained under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM). It is part of the central government's Parvatmala scheme and aims to provide an eco-friendly alternative to conventional roads. This is the second ropeway project under the scheme in Uttar Pradesh, with the first project currently under construction in Varanasi.
