The 60th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Freight Forwarders' Associations in India was held in Mumbai on September 29, 2023. Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Law and Justice, encouraged the attendees with a focus on the recently passed Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2023. The bill aims to improve ease of living and ease of doing business. The Minister also addressed the need to reduce logistics costs, invited suggestions from FFFAI members, and emphasized the goal of a $5 trillion economy by 2025 and a developed nation by 2047. The meeting was attended by FFFAI Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, and members from locations across India. The FFFAI plans to present their issues to the Ministry of Law & Justice.
