Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has made significant strides in strengthening the Kingdom's global logistics leadership. It added 20 cargo services to Jeddah, Dammam, and Jubail ports, resulting in a higher score on the UNCTAD's Liner Shipping Connectivity Index. The authority also partnered with companies like United Electronics Company and Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the development of logistics parks. Other achievements include the launch of major logistics projects, efforts towards sustainability, and recognition in various industry honors. The ports also saw increases in TEU volumes, automobile imports, food commodities, vessel calls, passenger traffic, and livestock trade.
