The event was attended by key industry stakeholders and focused on empowering women to pursue careers at sea. The Chief Guest, Ajithkumar Sukumaran, highlighted the progress made in increasing women's participation in seafaring. Maersk also addressed safety and well-being concerns and emphasized the importance of mentorship and access to maritime institutes in shaping successful careers at sea. Maersk is committed to increasing the number of women seafarers worldwide.
