Lufthansa Cargo is increasing its commitment to the Indian air cargo sector, expanding its network and capacity in response to growing demand. Dr. André Schulz, Head of Region Middle East, Africa, South Asia & CIS at Lufthansa Cargo, stated that they have reached 85-90% of pre-pandemic capacity and highlighted the importance of market visits to witness dynamics. Lufthansa Cargo plans to run freighters three times a week between Bengaluru and Munich starting November 2023, and add another trade lane between Hyderabad and Frankfurt starting January 2024. They believe in the potential of India's economic growth and aim to support the import and export industry.
