Indonesia has dropped 17 places in the World Bank's Logistics Performance Index (LPI) for 2023, ranking 63rd out of 139 countries. Meanwhile, several Asian neighbors, including the Philippines, Malaysia, India, and Singapore, have made progress in improving their logistics performance. The reasons for Indonesia's decline and lessons from these improving countries are being questioned. Lamia Bennis, a senior logistics specialist from the World Bank, highlighted that the LPI represents the perception of logistics professionals.
