Logistics provider Kuehne+Nagel has won a contract with wind turbine supplier Envision Energy to transport 190 wind turbine generators and 67 tower sets to Saudi Arabia's NEOM special economic zone. The project, due for completion in 2025, involves moving 1.4 million freight tons of equipment. Kuehne+Nagel has set up a dedicated office in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, to coordinate operations. NEOM aims to become a sustainable urban area powered by renewable energy. The wind farm will generate 1.67 GW of renewable energy to power the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company.
