Kolkata Port, also known as Syama Prasad Mookherjee Port, is offering 60 acres of land for the establishment of West Bengal's first multi-modal logistics park. The park will be located just 2km from the port docks, making it more appealing than other proposed parks in India. Bids are being invited for a 30-year lease, with a minimum cargo volume guarantee of 1 million tonnes. The park will include warehousing, cold storage, and other logistics infrastructure. The goal is to boost logistics and attract more users to the port.
