The Kazakh-Afghan Business Forum in Astana on Aug. 3-5 aims to strengthen trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. Kazakhstan intends to surpass last year's bilateral trade of $988 million with Afghanistan and reach a $3 billion target in the future. The forum will gather over 200 business delegations and focus on diversifying trade routes, including access to the Pakistani market. Kazakhstan is a major exporter of flour and agricultural products to Afghanistan, and trade ties are expected to continue growing.
