Indian conglomerate ITC has invested ₹1,500 crores (approximately US$181 million) in two new manufacturing facilities in Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. The facilities include an integrated food manufacturing and logistics facility, which will produce ITC's Indian brands, and a sustainable packaging products manufacturing facility. The packaging facility aims to contribute to plastic substitution in packaging for electronic items, FMCG, and the F&B sector. The facilities were inaugurated by ITC chairman Sanjiv Puri and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The investment is expected to provide employment opportunities in the state.
