IPM India Wholesale Trading, an affiliate of Philip Morris International, has introduced electric vehicles (EVs) to its logistics fleet in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. This move is aimed at reducing carbon emissions and supporting sustainable logistics. The EVs have the capacity to carry up to 1000 kgs and can travel 100 kilometers on a single charge. IPM India plans to expand its EV fleet across key cities in India. CEO of Godfrey Phillips India, Sharad Aggarwal, highlighted the company's commitment to sustainability and the ongoing use of electric scooters for last mile product deliveries.
