Intercontinental TIR transport slashes Europe-Middle East transit by ... - IRU

The Milton Group successfully completed a 40-day maritime journey from Latvia to Kuwait in just nine days by using the TIR global transit system. With TIR, the truck seamlessly passed through 13 countries, reducing transit times and administrative burdens. The CEO of Milton Group praised TIR for enabling a competitive transit time and handling transit formalities. The International Road Transport Union (IRU) also commended the Milton Group and highlighted the benefits of TIR in connecting European and Middle Eastern markets. TIR has been utilized by other companies to transport goods from Europe to India via Türkiye and Iran.
