India is focusing on revolutionizing its infrastructure sector in the next 25 years in order to become a developed nation by 2047. The government has launched the Gati Shakti program to consolidate major mobility infrastructure projects. Plans include building national highways, railway lines to high altitude areas, bullet trains, power projects, river navigation projects, and more. The goal is to improve transportation networks, reduce logistics costs, and enhance India's competitiveness in manufacturing and trade. The government has allocated Rs 10 lakh crore for infrastructure in the 2023-24 budget. However, challenges remain in terms of project execution and funding.
