IndiGo may bring a huge cargo capacity influx along with Air India - Logistics Insider

Indian airline IndiGo has placed an order for 500 Airbus A320 family single-aisle aircraft at the Paris Air Show, making history for the largest order ever by an Indian airline. The deal will complement IndiGo's existing order of 480 aircraft from Airbus and its focus on cargo operations, with the airline already running an impressive fleet of freighters. Industry sources suggest the move would solidify IndiGo's position in the expanding Indian market, generate ample opportunities for cargo service providers and upgrade service solutions on domestic and international routes.
