Indian Railways has signed a memorandum of understanding with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to collaborate on renewable energy and energy efficiency. As part of its commitment to reducing carbon footprints, Indian Railways is taking several initiatives to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. The agreement with USAID will provide technical assistance and support to help Indian Railways achieve its goals.
