India is set to open the world's highest railway bridge, the Chenab Rail Bridge, in Kashmir after 15 years of construction. The bridge, standing at 359 meters tall, is 29 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower. This infrastructure upgrade aims to integrate the disputed region into the country and improve defense capabilities. The bridge is expected to bring prosperity to Kashmir and is scheduled to open at the end of December or in January 2024.
