India and UAE have signed a Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) for Authorised Economic Operators (AEOs) of both countries. The MRA agreement facilitates Customs administration to recognise safe and compliant exporters and importers and provide them better facilitation. Customs authorities will also recognise AEOs of both countries, which helps expedite customs clearances. Earlier in September, India and the US had signed an MRA AEO agreement, with both countries working to quickly implement the reciprocal arrangement for authorised economic operators.
