Pfizer has suspended the sale, distribution and supply of two drugs in India, Lorcaserin and Alprazolam, due to "deviations" at a manufacturing facility operated by contractor Astral Steritech Private Limited. Astral Steritech is investigating the matter and taking "all reasonable efforts" to resolve it, per Pfizer. In separate news, Apple's manufacturing endeavours in India, including weak infrastructure and logistics, have resulted in a 50% yield in their production line at a casings factory in Hosur.
