India's DPIIT stresses on PM GatiShakti for ease of doing biz - Fibre2fashion.com

Special Secretary (Logistics), DPIIT, Sumita Dawra urged states and UTs to align their state logistics policies with the national logistics policy for a holistic approach. 22 states have already notified their policies, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Dawra highlighted the benefits of PM GatiShakti in improving ease of doing business and logistics. By integrating existing programs with GIS-based NMP/SMP, states can improve planning and decision-making processes. She recommended regular meetings, quality data layers, and active use of SMP for project planning. Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, and other states participated in the meeting.
