India marks one year of National Logistics Policy launched to complement PM GatiShakti's National Master Plan - Devdiscourse

India celebrated the one-year anniversary of the National Logistics Policy, a government initiative aiming to improve the country's logistics sector. The policy, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focuses on developing soft infrastructure, promoting digitization, and improving logistics services. Its targets include reducing logistics costs, improving the Logistics Performance Index ranking, and creating a data-driven decision support mechanism. Progress has been made in implementing the policy, with regional conferences and inter-ministerial meetings facilitating its execution. The policy has also been presented to the World Bank to improve India's ranking in the Logistics Performance Index.
