India is our fastest growing region in APAC: Kaspersky's Adrian Hia - TechCircle

Adrian Hia has been appointed as the managing director of cybersecurity company Kaspersky for the APAC region. Hia plans to upgrade his team and expand in new territories. Kaspersky will focus on South Asia Pacific regions such as Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia, and Brunei, as well as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. He also sees potential in sectors like banking, manufacturing, and oil and gas in the Indian market. Hia believes that cybersecurity preparedness should be a focus for top leaders due to the increased instances of cyberattacks. Rapid digitalization has created a need for cybersecurity specialists and managed security service providers can help lower the pressure on firms.
