India's G20 presidency presents opportunities for South Asia to address economic challenges, promote regional cooperation in climate and energy, and lead innovation. To maximize these opportunities, ICC Bangladesh urges India and South Asian countries to accelerate cooperation and work towards regional integration. Currently, South Asia is one of the least integrated regions in terms of trade and people-to-people contact. Measures such as improving transport and logistics and implementing free trade agreements can significantly boost intra-regional trade and economic cooperation in the region.
