South Korean ocean carrier, HMM, has added the port of Tanjung Priok in Jakarta to its Far East, India, and Latin America (FIL) service. The first direct service between Indonesia and Latin America was marked when the 6,987 TEU Hyundai Shanghai vessel arrived at the port on 8 June. HMM believes the enhanced service will foster more efficient transportation options, strengthen trade relationships, and promote economic growth in the regions.
