Hindustan Zinc signs deal to deploy GreenLine's LNG-powered trucks - Moneycontrol

Hindustan Zinc Ltd has partnered with GreenLine Mobility Solution Ltd to deploy a fleet of LNG-powered trucks in its supply chain and transportation operations. GreenLine will invest Rs 200 crore for this initiative. The use of LNG vehicles will reduce carbon emissions and align with the sustainability goals of both companies. Hindustan Zinc aims to reduce 50% of GHG emissions by FY2030. The LNG-powered trucks reduce emissions compared to diesel trucks, with reductions of up to 30% in CO2, up to 100% in SOx, up to 59% in NOx, and up to 91% in particulate matter.
