The Central Government of India is planning to build an expressway connecting Kashmir to Kanyakumari, aiming to improve connectivity and travel efficiency. The Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, stated that this expressway will reduce the travel distance between Delhi and Chennai by 1,312 kilometers. Gadkari also emphasized the government's focus on infrastructure development and the goal of reducing logistics costs in India. He mentioned the transition to electric vehicles and the launch of Toyota's Flex engine Innova running on ethanol.
