The President of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), Dr. Ivan Petrov, visited the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) to discuss trade-related matters and cooperation between the two organizations. Dr. Petrov emphasized the importance of individual companies in FIATA and the need for seamless integration of different transport modes. He also commended the FFFAI training arm for imparting FIATA Diploma Courses. The FFFAI Chairman, Mr. Shankar Shinde, highlighted recent Indian Customs initiatives for trade facilitation and ease of doing business, as well as government policies for fast cargo clearance.
