DP World, a global supply chain solutions provider, has received two awards at the annual Multimodal event in the UK. The company was named 'Sustainability Company of the Year' and 'Port Company of the Year', an award it has won twice in three years. DP World's efforts in reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to low-carbon technologies, such as hydrotreated vegetable oil fuel, were recognised. The company has set an ambition to become a net-zero logistics organisation by 2050. The Multimodal Awards recognise excellence in freight forwarding, air, rail, road and maritime services.
