DP World plans to add 3 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) of container handling capacity by the end of the year, helping to boost global supply chain resilience. The global trade enabler currently manages 9% of the world's handling capacity and the expansions will increase its total gross capacity to 93.6 million TEUs. The capacity expansion plans come at a vital time, with increasing concerns about the global trade landscape. DP World will also focus on digitalization and implementing new technology to increase capacity and efficiency.
