Dachser eyes acquisitions - India Shipping News

German logistics company Dachser is actively pursuing acquisitions in its Air & Sea Logistics (ASL) division to drive growth. The company plans to target opportunities where it is not currently present or where the setup is not at the desired size. Dachser recently acquired New Zealand-based freight forwarder ACA International and formed a joint venture in Japan with Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co. Despite the challenging market conditions, Dachser aims to maintain its independence. However, Dachser CEO Burkhard Eling expects a decline in volumes for the ASL division this year.
