CMA CGM implements congestion surcharges in Turkish Port - India Shipping News

Container line CMA CGM is introducing new port congestion surcharges in the Turkish port of Iskenderun. A surcharge of $200 per container will apply to all shipments from Iskenderun to West Africa, effective from 25 August. CMA CGM will also implement a congestion surcharge of €100 ($108) per TEU in Iskenderun for cargo from/to North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland, and the Baltic, effective from 29 August. Additionally, a surcharge of €/US$100 per TEU will apply to Mediterranean, Portugal, North Africa, and Black Sea cargo to/from Iskenderun.
