There is significant caution among importers for this year's peak season and global economic pressures could result in a drop of 10% to 20% below 2019 levels. Retailers are affected by the inventory glut and changes in consumer demand, and Target's declining foot traffic and sales figures indicate new concerns. Wholesalers are also facing larger inventory challenges than perceived.
