Boeing has announced a $100 million investment in pilot training programs and infrastructure in India following Air India's recent order of more than 200 jets from the company. The deal, which includes a range of aircraft, will be used to modernize India's civil aviation sector, which is one of the fastest-growing in the world. The purchase agreement is expected to support more than one million American jobs across 44 states. Boeing's investment will address India's growing demand for pilots, with projections suggesting the country will need 31,000 pilots over the next two decades.
