Cyclone Biparjoy off India's western coast has halted operations at offshore oil platforms and ports and suspended oil product exports from Sikka port. Reliance Industries has stopped exports of diesel and petroleum products, while Mundra, India's largest commercial port, and other major ports have also closed. Offshore oil and gas platforms off Gujarat have also halted operations ahead of the cyclone, which is expected to make landfall on Thursday. The cyclone has already claimed seven lives.
