Bangladesh notifies of transit and trans-shipment routes for Tripura - Logistics Insider

The Bangladesh government has agreed with India to use the ports of Chittagong and Mongla for transportation of goods. Tripura Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma has announced four transit and trans-shipment routes for Tripura. The routes include Chittagong Port Akhaura Agartala, Mongla Port Akhaura – Agartala, Chittagong Port Bibirbazar – Srimantapur, and Mongla Port Bibirbazar – Srimantapur. This agreement will allow for increased trade and faster and more affordable transportation of goods in the North-Eastern region.
