India has climbed six places on the World Bank's Logistic Performance Index (LPI) 2023, reflecting the significant role of the logistics sector in driving growth. The government's PM Gati Shakti initiative aims to reduce logistics and boost the economy. In line with this, Shreeji Translogistics, a Mumbai-based logistics provider, has renewed its contract with Singapore Airlines. India's ranking on the LPI has steadily improved since 2014, and the government is working towards reducing logistics costs to 9% of GDP in the next three years.
